A product being developed for the protection of our soldiers against shaped charge attack is the light explosive reactive armour CLARA for light armoured vehicles, such as APCs.
The characteristics of this metal-free new design, being developed with partner companies for use as an add-on or integrated armour, are low weight and robustness and it does not create fragments. In addition to shaped charge protection, the hybrid version of CLARA offers highly effective protection against KE penetrators. Our company also produces standardized shaped charges for testing of base armour and add-on armour. Our customers for this product are all major companies and institutions in this field in Germany.
With the development of underwater warheads and underwater rocket motors our development team contributes to systems for anti-submarine warfare and torpedo defence.
